I use Hostinger as my web/server hosting provider. I currently have a web hosting package (coghillclan.net) and a VPS/server package (coghillclan.cloud).
I started out with coghillclan.net about 5 years ago because I wanted to start my own websites and learn WordPress. I had visions of selling subdomains on coghillclan.net so other Coghills could have their own Coghill website (like steve.coghillclan.net).
Then Covid hit, and I got thrown on my butt with it. Screwed up my heart. I couldn't do much of anything. So a lot of work on coghillclan.net kinda fell off. Well my docs are amazing and I have been feeling much better the last 4-5 months. So I wanted to start work on coghillclan.net again.
WordPress is easy to learn and use. You can add functionality to your website by installing plug-ins for WordPress. Unfortunately, several of the plug-ins I use cost money, and they have become more than I'm willing to pay.
So, I am now in the process of building new versions of the coghillclan.net webs to coghillclan.cloud webs using Bootstrap Studio instead of WordPress. When I need custom abilities I will write some Python scripts to do what WordPress plug-ins provide. Then I will cancel my web hosting package and point coghillclan.net to coghillclan.cloud. steve.coghillclan.cloud is almost complete (you're reading this page on that site).
